Bird Species: It gains important bird areas status with world wide generations under danger species, such as Küçük karabatak (max. 180) and tepeli pelikan (max.56), reproducing yaz ördegi (Turkey's known biggest population with 50 pairs) and pasbas patka (30 pairs), wintering büyük orman kartali (max. 20) and sah kartal (max.6). In addition to these, küçük balaban (25 pairs), gece balikçili (150 pairs), alaca balikçil (70 pairs), erguvani balikçil (50 pairs), turaç (50 pairs), sazhorozu (300 pairs), kocagöz (60 pairs), bataklik kirlangici (300 pairs), akça cilibit (200 pairs), mahmuzlu kyzkusu (300 pairs) and küçük sumru (150 pairs) like species are reproducing with important numbers within the region. While huge numbers of water birds (max. 91.097), including boz kaz (max.1450), fiyu (max. 11.648), çamurcun (max. 14.952), kasikgaga (max.4325) and sakarmeke (max. 36.240), during immigration huge numbers of çeltikçi (max.2500) and leylek (max.22.000) shelters here.
